Our list of implements is growing. Check back often.
Loader
From spreading dirt, gravel, or mulch, to moving piles of pretty much anything, there’s a lot you can do with a loader.
Tiller
With a 3 point style 48 inch tiller, we can make very quick work of a small garden, although we’ll tackle as big of an area as you need. Tillers also work great to level out a yard, prep for grass seeding, or to put in swales or other contouring.
Small Trencher
Our most recent purchase is a small trencher. Capable of trenches that are 2 inches wide and up to 24 inches deep, it makes considerably less mess than using our backhoe when all you need is to run a wire, pex tubing, or small PVC, and cleanup is just a few minutes with a rake. Not pictured is the cart that it mounts in so that long trenches can be cut smoothly without tiring out.
We just added a new dump trailer for spring of 2022! Whether you need us to haul away brush, dirt, or something else, or maybe you need a little gravel or fill dirt for a job, we’ve got you covered!
Backhoe
Backhoes are a great tool for digging holes or trenches, removing bushes or small trees, or a lot of other cleanup tasks. With the way Hurricane Helene has ravaged the upstate, a backhoe really comes in handy to scrape dirt out of those huge root balls and lighten them up before removal, or over-digging a hole under a root ball and setting it back in it.
Rotary Cutter
Also known as a “Bush Hog.” When you need to knock down an area that’s overgrown, these are a must. We have two rotary cutters: 4’ for cleaning up tighter quarters, and 6’ for cutting fields or larger areas. Whether you want to clean up around an old building or fence, or you want acreage cut once to twice a year to keep it from over-growing, we’ve got it covered.
Box Blade
An angle blade or grader is great for gravel driveways, but to get an area leveled, or to skim surface material from an area, box blades work very well. They can often be used in conjunction with a tiller to do more aggressive sculpting to create swales or level very uneven areas.
Stump Grinder
This type of grinder excels with small to medium sized trees, but can handle large trees as well.
Forks
Forks aren’t just for moving pallets. Aside from moving objects, forks also do a great job of things like transplanting bushes or moving brush.
Grapple
Nothing saves your back and speeds up moving brush, logs, and other debris like a grapple. These jaws open wide and grip hard, and when mounted on our new TYM 3515ch with 2200 pounds of lift capacity, this grapple can definitely get the job done!
Landscape Rake
Landscape rakes work just like a big hand rake. They are great for gathering up sticks or rocks while leaving the dirt in place. They can can also be used to smooth an area out where some texture is still preferred. You don’t want to use these on grass areas, because they will tear up the sod. These are best for clearing trails or woods, prepping areas for seeding, or even grading gravel.
The best part of our adding a bigger more powerful tractor is the ability to add a land plane for bigger and more efficient road restorations and maintenance. Nothing does a better job at restoring a gravel driveway.
